GPA has served the light hydrocarbons industry since 1921, as an incorporated nonprofit trade association. Our corporate members are engaged in the processing of natural gas into merchantable pipeline gas, volume movement, or further processing of liquid products from natural gas. Member companies represent approximately 92% of all natural gas liquids produced in the US and operate approximately 190,000 miles of domestic gas gathering lines.

We hope you find our site useful. Please provide comments to Christine Simpson so that we may continue to have the GPA website evolve into a valuable resource for the midstream industry.

GPA and the EPA work together in protecting the environment. Since 1998, GPA has been an official endorser of the Natural Gas STAR Program, a voluntary partnership between EPA and the oil and gas industry designed to cost-effectively reduce methane emissions. Together, we are working to promote a common goal of profitably reducing methane emissions in the oil and gas industry.
